• Town Wide Alpha
Autumn 08 – an opportunity for anyone to explore the Christian faith. Taster evening is on Wednesday 1st Oct at 7.30pm followed by 10 weeks on a Wed evening at Pilgrims Hall. For more details or to book your place please speak to Netty

• Townwide Alpha prayer and praise evening Wednesday 24th September, 8pm Doddinghurst Rd Church.
Please come and join us to pray for the town-wide Alpha course, a week before its launch. Be inspired and equipped to support this Alpha course in prayer.

• Body and Soul
An exercise class with a difference! Exercise DVD and a short time of reading the bible and praying together. Held at The Mission, Wednesdays, 9.30-10.30 am. Everyone welcome. Starting 3rd September.

• Church anniversary
Our 18th anniversary celebration is on Sunday September 21. Our guest preacher is Mike Elcombe, who was minister at Brentwood Baptist Church when our church was started. Mike was a key figure in starting up our church and we are delighted that he has agreed to visit us.

Members’ meeting
Our next members’ meeting is on Tuesday September 16, 8:00pm at Pilgrims Hatch Mission, Hatch Road.

• Pilgrims Hatch
James, Netty, Wendy and Ron are all involved in a local group planning some new projects for Pilgrims Hatch.

• Toddler Group – Summer Outings
Our toddler group have arranged the following day out and you are most welcome to come along with your children, grandchildren, etc. Meet at 11.00am this Friday 29th August at Hainault Forest Country Park – ducks and small farm to visit (all free). Please bring picnic lunch. Refreshments available.

• Marcus and Claire Bull
Please pray for Marcus, Claire and Thomas, as Marcus becomes minister of Hope Baptist Church, Hebden Bridge, Yorkshire on Saturday September 6. (For those who don’t know - Claire is Jackie Mathieson’s daughter. Marcus and Claire are former members of PHBC).

• Finance course – ‘How to manage your finances’ at Sawyers Church. Saturdays October 11 and 18, 9:30am to 1:00pm. Graham Bridger from Money Guidance and Solutions presents a two part course in Financial Planning. Tickets need to be reserved in advance on 01277 245831.

• Prayer evenings
Please note change of dates:
To avoid clashing with the Townwide Alpha we are moving our autumn prayer evenings from their usual dates.
We will be meeting for prayer at Pilgrims Hall on Thursdays October 23 and November 20.
