Hands of Mercy
•works in the Philippines, which has a population of approximately 89 million of whom 35 million live in abject poverty.
•was founded in 1997 as a Christian compassion organization.
• operates programs of compassion that minister to people’s basic needs, mainly in Mandaluyong City, in Metro Manila.
•has ministry teams working in eight urban poor communities or informal settlements.
• aims to restore hope to children and their families living in poverty.
• is staffed by volunteer Filipinos who live in the urban poor communities where Hands of Mercy coordinates its compassion programs. They experience the same living conditions as those they are seeking to serve.
• is affiliated to the Hands of Mercy International charity in England. (Registered Charity No. 1097434)
•is the compassion ministry of the Association of Mercy Community Churches in the Philippines.
• coordinates its programs of compassion in partnership with local Mercy Community Churches.

Hands to Serve, Holland

Brentwood Schools Worker Trust
This is a project supported by many Brentwood Churches to provide Christian education in our schools. The work is very wide ranging, including a Religious Education Club at Larchwood Primary School, which our church helps to run. Our minister, James Pate, is the year 11 chaplain at Sawyers Hall College.
Little Hatchlings Parent & Toddler Group
Our Parent and Toddler group meets Wednesdays and Fridays in term time at the Bentley Village Hall by the tennis cours in Ongar Road, 10.00am – 12.00noon. The morning includes activities, craft and singing, with the opportunity to meet other parents and carers. All families with babies or pre-school children are welcome, including dads and families with two or more children. Come for chilled stress-free morning – no need to book, just turn up!
